wildtots! FOREST SCHOOL...
NEW FOREST SCHOOL ADVENTURES FOR UNDER 5's AND THEIR GROWN-UPS TOO!
GroWild is a new adventurous activity camp nestled in magical woodland at White House Farm. After two years of providing creative kids events at the farm we are now offering a new forest school inspired programme for under 5’s and their parents/carers. Tots will be able to explore, task risks, make new friends, get hands-on with tools and learn new skills in a woodland environment. Join us for den building, fruit picking, nature trails, bushcraft, mud pie kitchens, bug hunting, storytelling, campfire cooking and more! Every session is different and our fully qualified forest school leaders will always have a full set of activities planned whatever the weather! We think it is the perfect place for children to connect with nature - good old fashioned muddy fun with plenty of marshmallow scoffing!

Where is White House Farm?
The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the very edge of the city, and is easily accessible for everyone. White House Farm is located just off Blue Boar Lane in between the large Tesco and the Sprowston garden centre. Please avoid the entrance via Salhouse Road, this is a farm track and not nice on your wheels!
What sort of activities do you offer? Den building, nature trails, archery, bushcraft, tree climbing, mud pie kitchens, storytelling, campfire cooking and more! We also have access to the beautiful White House Farm with plenty of fruit picking with apples, strawberries and pumpkins galore! Kids can get back to nature in a tranquil and private woodland farm setting with a range of groups and events from 'wildtots' termly groups to summer holiday adventure clubs for over 8's (no parents allowed!)...
Can I bring siblings? Yes, of course. We do not charge for babes in arms and any siblings who wish to take part in a session can do so at a discounted rate.
Will the weather affect the workshops? GroWild sessions are aimed at getting kids outdoors as much as possible so please bring warm and waterproof outdoor clothing and footwear. Our base camp in the woodland has large group shelters with fire pits, so have shelter from the rain and a range of crafty activities, storytelling and nature building activities on hand for working on around the campfire. As we are situated on a farm site we also have access to a cosy indoor space with toilet, baby change and cafe facilities.
Health & safety...GroWild workshops will involve bushcraft, campfire cooking, tool use, crafts and more - all of which come with an element of risk. Staff at GroWild regularly review all aspects of health, safety and risk on site and have taken all reasonable practical steps to mitigate these risks. All equipment and activities have been risk assessed and we run a daily check on site. We put a lot of work into our ‘site safety handbook’ with a list of policies and procedures in place. There will always be a fully insured, DBS checked and first aid qualified member of staff present.

Do you have a toilet on-site? YES! We have toilet facilities in the carpark area plus a secluded/private 'pop-up' camping toilet in the woodland area. We also provide potties/disposable toilet bags for under 5's if they get caught short!
Outdoor plant and/or food allergies...Please ensure you notify your workshop leader at least 24 hours if you or your child have any allergies. If you arrive at an event/workshop and you have NOT notified the leader then you will be asked to book onto an alternative workshop.
